The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit & Spiritual Direction – Ongoing Clergy Formation

The action of God working in a person’s life through grace and the gifts of the Holy Spirit is what truly constitutes the mystical life. This study day will examine how the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit fit into the whole supernatural organism, the prominent effects of the operation of the gifts, their relationship to prayer and purification, and rules for spiritual direction. Finally we shall consider the effects of each gift and the pastoral implications.
